In this series of novelettes starting over his final Thanksgiving break from college, Derek and his mother Marcy reacting to the discovery of his father Stan having sex with Derek’s girlfriend Angie is just the beginning. With a sexual relationship between Derek and Marcy at the story’s core, Derek soon learns that his parents’ pasts, of both incest and swinging, is a lot more complicated than he knew. Ending a secret pact that divided them for years, two families reunite, then are rocked by additional secrets coming to light, threatening to either tear them apart or bind them into one loving family.
At Derek’s holiday break, he and Tommy return home for Christmas to the group relationship which formed over Thanksgiving. They face added challenges posed by Angie’s family. More revelations show that her family is linked to their group in unexpected ways. All while they try to keep family members who are not involved in their incest from finding out — with mixed success.
