My books are back on Google Play Books!

After a reset in the process of distribution of books from Streetlib into Google Play Books, ten of my non-taboo erotica books are again available there. (Did anyone even notice they went away?)

The purchase links on my WordPress site’s pages have been updated.

Here’s a link to my author page at Google, rather than listing the ten books individually:

News from Streetlib

I have been informed by Streetlib that the four paperbacks that I have set up so far on their Print service are in violation of Amazon’s standards, because they contain incest, even though the Streetlib Distribution agreement only talks about blocking the distribution of incest to a list of stores where ebooks are distributed, including “Amazon Kindle” specifically.   At no time during the Print setup process was I asked whether the books contained incest.  Nor did support personnel who assisted in setting up the books flag them, despite the descriptions they contained being clear as to the content.

Anyway, the books have been removed from Amazon/CreateSpace.  The first two of them already show as “Out of Print” on Amazon’s site, although still visible in the store, while books 3 & 4 show limited copies in stock that they must have printed already.  Grab them while they’re still there!  They’ll be collector’s items, right?

Unfortunately, this means that the paperbacks have also been taken off distribution through Streetlib’s storefront, although I have been reassured that they will eventually restore them to that store.

At least I got my personal copies, right?

Print Edition of First Year After! [OBSOLETE]

[Obsolete – Paperback has been blocked due to content by Streetlib.  If it returns to sale, it will probably only be on Streetlib]

“First Year After”, my very first book available in paperback form, has been released by Amazon.com, through the Print service offered by Streetlib.com, priced at $12.99 USD.  Even though the ebook format isn’t available on Amazon (it features incest), Amazon has (surprisingly) accepted the print version.  Get it before they realize and ban it!  I ordered my own copy this morning!

Some of my followers may have noticed that I have started listing my ebooks at Streetlib.com.  Like Smashwords.com does, Streetlib distributes ebooks to plenty of other retailers, with quite a few more European retailers, since Streetlib is headquartered in Italy.  Where they overlap, I’ll let Smashwords distribute, to avoid duplication.

Streetlib does have a couple of advantages for an American author over Smashwords.  The first is that they distribute to the Google Play store, where Smashwords doesn’t.  The second is that they have a Print operation, where print editions of books can be set up, and will even be carried by Amazon’s CreateSpace operation.  For some reason, Amazon has the book available for ordering sooner than Streetlib itself.  I will be adding the rest of this series and a few other longer works over time.  Watch for announcements here.

P.S.  Also available at Amazon UK for £9.99.
