#MyReads: WWW: Wake, by Robert J Sawyer

WWW; Wake Cover

I do still read books which are not erotica, and this one is a doozy of a science fiction novel. It’s actually been sitting in the TBR pile in my office for quite some time, so it’s about a dozen years old now, so some of the tech in it might seem a bit dated, but it’s an astonishing accomplishment, well deserving of a Hugo nomination for best novel. It’s the first in a trilogy.

Summer of Secrets, Part I

Summer of Secrets Part I Caption

Okay, a little bit different this time out. I have been shooting for lengths around 12K-15K for this series, but “Summer of Secrets” is weighing in more about 25K. So, I decided to split it into two parts and this is the first one.

I also made the decision to make this an exclusive of this site for the first week that it’s out. It will be available as a pre-order on Smashwords shortly, but won’t go “live” there for this first week.

How much crazier can Danny & Cassie’s summer get, when Samantha & Sarah walk into the coffee shop to meet up with them?

Erotica Groups on MeWe

There are a number of erotica groups (or at least book groups which will accept erotica posts), to which I promote my books. Here’s my list…

The first three, I created and run:

The rest are run by other folks:

If you’re aware of any I missed and would like to see them included, please let me know.

January 2022 Site Status

Although there are still some hours to go before the month is “officially” over, I can reach a couple of conclusions from my site’s stats, that are unlikely to be overturned:

  • Traffic is rising, following the low of December — each of the full weeks of January were higher than the week before.
  • January’s total, while higher than December’s, is still less than November’s and is a full 40% lower than January 2021.

It will take a lot more growth to get back to the old traffic levels, but it just seems people are online less right now, as others seem to be observing.
