March’s hits were nearly the same as February’s, only 1% difference. That is all.
Well, my efforts to get back on track with social media posting didn’t last too long. But some of it is automated, so it took a while for those queues to run dry. Trying again, now.
February’s hit stats were thus not as good as January’s, better than December’s and about even with November.
Well, I began to get back on track in posting to Twitter and Facebook (and MeWe, Instagram and Sharesome). January’s hit total was better that the two previous months. But the fact is that the three months (November, December, January) were the lowest three in the past two years.
I also got some progress on book 8 of my current series, so hopefully I can get that finished soon. I’m still not sure if this is going to wind up the end of the series (and how to end it), or if a book 9 might be next.
Okay, delayed again, by busy-ness in my life and work outside of writing… Barely able to find time to post some of my promos to my social accounts. No time for writing, at all. Anyway, October saw a very small (~2%) increase over September’s blog hits. That’s all there is to say.
Another decline in September, but not down to June’s low. I finally got my home internet in better shape towards the end of the month. Now I just need to get caught up on some stuff related to my social media posting…
Yeah, I’m almost a week late on this, but I frequently have limited Internet access at the beginning of the month and when I do have access, other tasks take priority.
Anyway, July 2023 did see a jump in traffic compared to the two months before it, likely the effect of the Smashwords sale this month. Not quite to the level of May+June combined, but close. Yet, still lower than July 2022, for comparison.
Not a lot of writing/promoting activity again, so blog hits dropped even further, to the lowest level in more than a year.
Maybe the Smashwords sale this month will help (see here), but I’ve got to promote that, too. And my real life job (no, I’m not telling you what it is) is going to be busy in July, too. So, we’ll see what we see.
Yes, this monthly status is delayed again. Sorry. Just busy doing other things. And that’s the main cause of a big drop in hits in May, more than 50% from April and the lowest in five months.
Late posting of this, again, Sorry. Slight decline from March’s numbers, but that still places April above any other month in the site’s stats. Just one sale from the shop all month, though.
